Is Skeer free to use?
Yes. The full budgeting core unlimited categories, accounts, and transactions is free forever. Pro adds the extras: debt tracking, bank connection and PDF import, cloud sync, and automatic backup.
Do I need to connect my bank account?
No, it's optional. Add transactions manually, import a PDF from your banking app with Pro, or connect your bank with Pro through PSD2 open banking (Enable Banking). You log in at your own bank, Skeer never sees your credentials and only gets read access. The connection expires after 90 days and you can disconnect at any time.
How does syncing between devices work?
On the free plan, you can back up and restore your budget manually as a local file. Pro adds automatic cloud sync and backup, so your budget stays up to date across devices.
Is my financial data safe?
Yes. Your data is encrypted, and we never sell it to third parties. If you connect your bank, it goes through a regulated PSD2 provider: your bank login stays with your bank and never reaches Skeer.
What is zero-based budgeting?
Every euro gets a job. You assign your income to categories until there's nothing left to assign so you always know exactly what you can still spend.
Can I cancel Pro anytime?
Yes. Cancel directly from your App Store settings, no questions asked. You'll keep Pro access until the end of your billing period.
