These Terms of Service govern your use of the Skeer mobile app, the Skeer web dashboard at app.skeerapp.com, and the marketing website at skeerapp.com (together, "Skeer" or "the Service"). By downloading or using Skeer, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
Skeer is a personal finance management application. It helps you track income and expenses, manage budgets, and monitor debts. Skeer is a tool to help you organise your financial information. It does not provide financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, or any regulated financial service. Any decisions you make based on information in the app are entirely your own responsibility.
Skeer is operated by Skeer, Westerkade 40, 3511HC Utrecht, Netherlands. References to "we", "us", or "our" in these terms refer to this entity. You can contact us at support@skeerapp.com.
The Free plan requires no account. To use Skeer Pro (cloud sync, web dashboard, auto backup), you must create an account with a valid email address and password.
Skeer Pro is available as a monthly subscription (€2.99/month) or an annual subscription (€24.99/year), inclusive of any applicable VAT. Prices may change; we will give you at least 30 days notice of any price increase.
Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store. Apple's payment terms apply. We do not process or store your payment information directly. Your subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain Pro access until then. We do not offer pro-rata refunds for partial periods, except where required by applicable law.
Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policy. For issues relating to the service itself, contact us at support@skeerapp.com and we will do our best to help.
You agree not to:

If you delete your account, your cloud data will be permanently deleted within 30 days. Local data on your device is not affected by account deletion and remains until you uninstall the app or clear app data manually.

Skeer is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that data will never be lost. Financial data you enter is your responsibility to back up. We strongly encourage using the backup feature regularly. To the maximum extent permitted by Dutch and EU consumer law, we disclaim all implied warranties.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Skeer and its operator shall not be liable for:
Our total liability for any claim arising under these terms is limited to the amount you paid for Skeer Pro in the 12 months preceding the claim, or €10 if you are on the Free plan.
